A well-established organisation in York, North Yorkshire are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will have responsibility for:

*Setting up and maintaining customer accounts.
*Reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure all accounts are up to date for month end reports.
*Being first point of contact for all relevant enquiries.
*Maintaining the paperless filing system.
*Collection and distribution of daily post.
*Matching, checking, processing and coding invoices.
*Processing company expenses.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience working in Purchase Ledger previously but is looking to pursue this as a career and secure solid experience and development working in a busy finance function. For a well-respected company.

*Having proven experience working within a purchase ledger role.
*Self-motivated with a can-do attitude towards work and problem solving.
*Ability to form and maintain positive relations with those they work with and alongside.
*Thrive working under pressure and towards deadlines.
*Have strong communication skills and be a team player.
