Brilliant Purchase Ledger Clerk Vacancy
I am working with a client that has seen rapid growth in the last 3 years. In 2018 the businesses turnover was at around £2m and it is on course to hit £12m this year. The Managing Director is ambitious and driven and is excited for the short and long term of the business.
This role will be part of a small but supportive team which includes a Financial Controller and accounts assistant.
Duties include
*Checking and getting authorisation on invoices before entering to Sage
*Query resolution internally and externally
*Ensuring all direct purchases are allocated to a sale via project costings and spreadsheet maintenance, then reconciling to Sage
*Short payment terms means that Sage is required to be kept up to date at all time
*Prepare a payment schedule to be produced every 1-2 days for FC to make payments
*Spreadsheet maintenance and stored for any projects that details all costs
*Responsible for all purchase related filing both electronic and paper copy
*Spreadsheet for sub-contractor invoices and allocation on sage to specific projects
*Assist with sub-contractor monthly CIS return and production of monthly certificates
*Ensuring supplier payments are up to date for the bank reconciliations to be completed
*Statement reconciliations
