A small but well-established business based in Leeds are looking to add a Purchase Ledger Clerk to its small finance team reporting ultimately to the Finance Controller.

The role is to work as part of an established team with a view to developing their career in accounts over the long term.

The duties include, but are not limited to -

* To assist the Accounts Department with all areas of purchase ledger.
* Coding & posting invoices
* Gaining the appropriate authorisation on invoices
* Matching to purchase orders
* Payment runs and checking statements.
* Management of the purchase ordering system
* Other Ad hoc duties when needed Required

We would be keen to hear from individuals with the following skills and experience:

* A strong background in Purchase ledger and dealing with purchase invoices.
* Competent in Microsoft packages, (excel) and previous experience of Sage would be an advantage.
* Skilled in multitasking, prioritisation of workload, good organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills
