Sharp Consultancy are partnering with a leading independent firm of chartered accountants with a number of impressive offices across the East Midlands.
Due to new work won, they are now looking to add to their fantastic tax team in Retford with the appointment of a Personal Tax Senior.
The successful applicant will be given their own varied portfolio of clients and (if interested) the opportunity to gain tax planning experience and to work on a series of unique ad hoc advisory projects.
Dedicated to staff engagement our client is able to offer a 50/50 working split giving staff the option of working from home for half of the week to reduce travel times and improve employee wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
*Preparing annual tax returns for individuals and partnerships inc Electronic filing of returns
*Corresponding with HM Revenue and Customs as required, including assisting with any enquiries raised
*Liaising directly with clients (and third parties where necessary) to obtain all information tocomplete returns
*Liaising with accounts team members to ensure timely service
*Preparing P11d forms - liaising with colleagues to gather the necessary information efficiently
*Preparing capital gains tax computations and electronic filing of reports
*Checking PAYE codes
*Providing advice to clients in respect of personal taxes
What's on offer:
*A basic salary dependent on experience of £35,000-£38,000
*Full time (a minimum of 30 hours, 4 days per week would be considered)
