Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with an award-winning Doncaster based Chartered Accountancy Practice as they look to appoint a Personal Tax Manager to join their growing tax team.

 

The ideal candidate will have worked in a personal or mixed tax role and be comfortable managing a portfolio of personal tax clients autonomously.

 

While the role is initially compliance focussed there is plenty of scope for advisory experience for the right individual. In return, the successful applicant will be joining one of the most exciting firms in South Yorkshire going through an exciting period of growth.

 

Based out of their Doncaster office, the team work and expected to be based out of the office 2 days per week.

As a Personal Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients

  • Reviewing tax computations and returns prepared by junior team members

  • Supporting the training and development of less experienced staff

  • Assisting with a variety of ad hoc tax advisory projects

 

To be considered for this Personal Tax Manager position, ideally you will have:

  • ATT and/or CTA qualification

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Practice, with exposure to personal tax (management is desirable)

  • Strong knowledge of income tax compliance and current tax legislation
