Payroll Co-ordinator

Job description

 Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a well-established business based on the outskirts of York to recruit two Payroll Coordinators, both on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.

About the role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for running the monthly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate input of data from timesheets, you will ensure compliance with starter and leaver documentation and manage PAYE/NI payments and reconciliations. You will also be responsible for producing P11Ds and P60s and administer expense claims in line with HMRC regulations. You will handle employee payroll queries and manage HMRC communications including RTI.

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong skills in MS Office and Payroll software.

  • Experience working in a similar payroll role.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of HMRC regulations related to payroll and timesheets.

What’s on offer

  • Annual salary up to £32,000 dependant on experience.

  • 6 month fixed term contract.

  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

  • Annual leave 25 days plus bank holidays.
