The candidate's responsibilities include:
* Balancing payroll output and generating finance reports including BACS
* Process and submit pension upload files to pension portal
* Support in the management areas of the finance team
* Support the wider Payroll manager and wider Finance team as required
* To review and integrate monthly payroll data in the IRIS Cascade Payroll system - starters, leavers, contract amendments i.e. salary increases, change in hours, overtime, bonus etc
* To administer SSP, SMP, SPP, Income tax, National Insurance, pensions, student loans and attachment of earnings in line with regulations
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
* Personable and a good communicator
* Demonstrating the ability to manage personal workload, whilst working effectively as part of a team.
* Possess completer/finisher tendencies and is solutions-focused when faced with issues
* Ability to meet deadlines and achieve objectives with a can-do attitude
* Excellent IT and numerical skills, ideally Excel experience
