Key responsibilities include:
*Produce monthly management accounts including journal preparation and accounts analysis
*Provide detailed accounts analysis for departmental managers monthly and as required
*Assist with the production of the year-end financial statements and audit files for all Group companies in conjunction with the FC and liaise with the external auditors
*Provide financial reporting for grants, assist with the completion of Assurance Statements (and similar) and assist with the preparation of budgets
*Provide purchase, sales and cashbook ledger support
*Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
*Maintain the debtors' ledgers for all Group companies, dealing with credit control (including chasing debts and issuing customer statements), debtor reports and advising on the bad debt provision if necessary.
*Completion of Group VAT Returns
*To assist in the budget setting process for all Group companies
To be considered you may be fully qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience but you must have a proven record of supporting a senior management accountant and experience of producing a set of accounts.
