Interim Management Accountant

Job description

​A highly successful business in Leeds seeks an experienced Management Accountant to cover a secondment for an initial 6 months.

Key tasks for the role include:

  • Prepare and review accounts for three separate entities.

  • Maintain stock records across several locations.

  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Assist in gathering of information for statutory accounts and tax information.

  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisors.

  • Prepare monthly recharge invoices to group companies.

  • Prepare VAT / ONS returns .

  • Maintain fixed asset registers.

This is a very interesting and varied role and is an opportunity to work with a very well respected Finance Director and supportive team.

You may be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) but candidates who are late stages PQ or are qualified by experience will also be considered so long as you have the relevant accounts prep experience, clear communication and decent Excel skills (which are essential).

This is a full time role (5 days a week) where 4 will be worked on site and 1 can be worked remotely so please only apply if you are able to commute to Leeds.
