Your duties will include but not limited to:
*Assisting the Project Accountant with the preparation of five-year financial plans, quarterly forecasts, and month end procedures.
*Responsibility for the monitoring of cash flow.
*Investigation into any variances and communicating the results to the Finance Director, recommending appropriate improvements where necessary.
*Communicating timely and accurate management information as appropriate and further developing financial reporting to improve management information for senior leadership team.
*Responsibility for completion of the Year End and Corporation Tax return for the European offices
*Supporting yearend audit.
*Supporting the continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls.
*Assisting with ad hoc projects and reporting as required.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the following experience:
*Hold an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Familiarity of Sage 200 or Sage enterprise would be desirable.
*Previous experience in a Management Accountant position.
*Working experience within the professional services sector would be a benefit, as would experience working in a firm with operations in more than one country.
*Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written.
*Strong Excel skills with the ability to use pivot tables and vlookups.
