An International Logistics company located in Leeds are currently looking for an experienced International Trade Assistant to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company.
You will have the following Duties:
*Analysing and confirming product specification, tariff classification, inco terms for imports and exports.
*Maintaining our product database (tariff code population) and supplier declarations of origin.
*Acting as part of our team of International Trade Advisors, you should be an accomplished import/export professional, who
can demonstrate:
Proven Incoterms and commercial trading experience with knowledge of the CHIEF systems well as dealing with Customs Agents
Harmonized tariff system knowledge and ability to learn/apply detailed complex regulations
Knowledge of International Rules of Trade for Excise/Controlled Goods would be an advantage
First class communications and relationship skills and a professional manner
