Interim Management Accountant – Immediate Start | £40K–£45K | Rotherham

 

Are you a talented Management Accountant ready to hit the ground running? We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer in Rotherham to recruit an Interim Management Accountant for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract – with strong potential to extend.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make an immediate impact.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll play a key role in the finance team, supporting month-end processes and driving financial accuracy across the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing general ledger journals and monthly management accounts

  • Conducting overhead reviews and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Supporting cost absorption into stock and reporting on WIP, stock levels, and labour efficiency

  • Maintaining the fixed asset register and handling VAT returns

  • Managing monthly tax analysis, payroll processing, and deferred income queries

  • Overseeing foreign currency, petty cash, and bank accounts

  • Providing cover for expenses processing and assisting with payroll & T&A systems

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in management or financial accounting

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working on-site in Rotherham, 5 days a week

  • Immediately available or available at short notice
