A highly reputable financial services organisation based in Bradford seeks a qualified accountant to join them quickly for an initial 6 month fixed term contract.

Key tasks involve:
* Management of accurate and timely production of Group management information for the Board.
* Continuous development and challenge of monthly Board management information.
* Management of the consolidation of the Group Corporate Plan and Quarterly Forecast Financials.
* Ensure a strong control environment within the core financial reporting team processes.
* Regular review and update of the Group Finance control manual.
Assist and provide support:
* Management of the production of Group Annual and Interim Financial Statements.
* Management of the accurate and timely production of Group regulatory reporting returns.
* Co-ordination of the collation and communication of the Key economic indicators to be used for forecasting, planning and IFRS 9 impairment purposes.
* Review and update Group Accounting policies annually.
* Provide technical/ financial accounting support.

To be considered you must be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with previous experience in a group/reporting setting. Previous financial services experience would be advantageous but is not essential. This role is to start ASAP though so you must be available to start July/Aug24 latest.
