Interim Assistant Management Accountant in

A fantastic opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to cover a 12-month maternity! This is an immediate position to work a well-known company in the Sheffield area, assisting the finance function as well as growing your skillset along the way. You will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will have the opportunity to assist with ad-hoc projects as and when they arise. You will be assisting the Management Accountant and will be responsible for the maintenance of financial controls, ensuring that financial data is reported to a good standard and assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes. This is a varied role with excellent professional benefits!

Key responsibilities include:
-Liaising with payroll and the transactional team, enabling the correct reporting of financial information.
-Assisting with the production of management accounts.
-Assisting with the preparation of year-end audits.
-Balance sheet reconciliations.
-Assisting with ad-hoc projects.

Skills and experience:
-Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
-Demonstrable experience.
-The ability to communicate across all levels of the finance function.
-Great excel and computer skills.
-A proactive approach towards your workload.
