As part of the business's growth plan/strategy, there is a need for a technically confident qualified Group Financial Accountant who can support the Senior Management, in continuing to improve and drive the financial accounting agenda within the growing group.
This role will be primarily focused on delivering audit-ready financial accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries with the full support of a hands-on Senior Finance leader and experienced team members.
Duties:
*Prepare year end accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries
*Align monthly management accounts to statutory accounts
*Maintain a lease database to ensure accurate IFRS16 reporting
*Carry out yearend compliance tasks such as IFRS9 review
*Liaise with appropriate advisors, primarily auditors and tax consultants
*Tax compliance matters
*Review completed balance sheet reconciliations and support resolution of balances
Person specification:
*Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant
*Experience of consolidations and group accounting in practice
*Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
*Strong problem solving and analytical skills
*High level of Excel competency
*A strong organiser able to multitask and prioritise
