FP&A Manager

Sharp Consultancy are recruiting an experienced FP&A Manager to join a leading manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take a forward-facing, strategic role within a fast-paced, innovative organisation.

 

You’ll report directly to the Head of FP&A and work closely with the wider finance team, helping to drive profitable growth, oversee financial planning, and provide insights that influence key business decisions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and present rolling forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.

  • Analyse financial results, provide commentary, and explain variances versus forecast, budget, and prior year.

  • Build and enhance reporting and dashboards, including Power BI, to automate processes.

  • Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions.

  • Act as a forward-facing business partner, providing actionable insights to senior managers.

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or actively studying.

  • Strong FP&A experience

  • Experienced in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis.

  • Comfortable presenting to senior business managers and leaders.

  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint skills; experience with BI tools advantageous.

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure.

  • Resilient, creative problem solver with commercial awareness.
