Fantastic opportunity in the south Leeds area for a career minded Financial Accountant to join a national household name business in the Leeds area. Our client is recruiting for an ACCA/CIMA part qualified Accountant who has a keen interest in analysis and reporting. Some of the core responsibilities will include preparation of various reports. You will also be a key point of contact for a number of different business managers and internal stakeholders where you will assist with a variety of commercial decisions that will play a key role in the company's ambitious growth plans.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Preparation of month end reports.
*Analysis of financial information for trends and errors.
*Variance analysis.
*Produce commentary schedule for management.
*Prepare regular reports and assist in reports to management.
*Assist with monthly forecasting, quarterly estimates and the annual plan.
*Assisting with the preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely management accounts including commentary.
*Ad hoc projects and reporting.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

*CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualified Accountant that is actively studying towards full qualification.
*Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, incorporating pivot tables, lookups, graphs etc.
*Excellent communication and organisation skills.
*A flexible attitude, adaptable to change and able to work well in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail.
*Good troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision-making skills
