Working as part of a small Finance team and reporting ultimately to the Finance Manager you will play a key role in all aspects of the finance function with a view to long term development alongside your studies (with study support provided by the business).

The main duties of the role are to include:

Key Responsibilities to include:
*Produce all sales invoices and sales orders in a timely manner.
*Work closely with colleagues in the wider business to gather the information required for invoicing and payment terms agreed.
*Ensuring that customer balances are paid on time by generating monthly statements and chasing in an appropriate manner.
*Bank PayPal and online payment postings and reconciliations for sales items.
*Processing invoices through the sales ordering processing system, and dispatching goods from stock.
*Maintaining and reviewing of aged debtors listing by producing an analysis of outstanding money and categorising them by income source and outstanding periods.
*Be the first point of contact for the Finance team in respect of answering customer telephone and email queries.
*Want to Race purchase ledger processing invoices, requesting payment approvals setting up payments.
*Filing and administrative duties.
*Any other task consistent with Sales Ledger as required by the Financial Controller

The ideal individual with have the following skills and experience:

*Knowledge of Sage 200 and Xero preferred
*Strong working knowledge of Excel
*Previous experience in a similar role
*Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels
*Able to prioritise work based on deadlines and importance
*A proven problem solver - proactive in identifying business/financial issues, recommending solutions and in implementing agreed recommendations
*Attention to detail in all aspects of role - consistently produces work to the highest standard
