We are currently recruiting for Qualified Finance Manager to join the UK Division of a large German-owned Utilities business in Leeds. The business is a leading group of over 50 companies operating across Europe. The business has experienced phenomenal success in recent years and has grown largely through acquisitions.

The role involves producing monthly management accounts and forecasting models for the UK business. Additionally, it includes supporting the Financial Controller with annual business plans and reforecasts and offers exposure to various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day financial operations and management of the finance team.
* Prepare and manage the annual budgeting process, including developing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and analysing variances.
* Provide financial forecasts and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
* Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities and provide insights for business improvements.
* Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and maintain comprehensive documentation for all financial transactions.
* Conduct financial analysis and prepare management reports to inform strategic decisions

Ideally will be able to demonstrate the below experience;

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
* Proven experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
