Our Leeds based client is a rapidly expanding, financial services provider with an outstanding reputation and a growing brand.
They are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager who will primarily be responsible for supporting the current Financial Controller, with a focus on the ability to oversee the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts and prepare consolidated and individual annual statutory accounts.
There is a succession plan in place within the finance team and this person will have the potential to progress into the Financial Controller position within a reasonably short time frame.
The successful candidate, therefore, will need to be a fully ACA qualified Accountant with an exceptional track record to date in their finance career. You will need to possess a blend of technical competency and leadership qualities with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
You will need to be comfortable preparing and presenting reports and information at board level, being well presented and articulate. You will have excellent technical and statutory accounting experience and most likely qualified with one of the leading Chartered Accountancy practices.
Experience within the financial services sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
