Sharp Consultancy is currently recruiting in partnership with an industry leading business in the Sheffield area for a Finance Director. The business whilst still in its UK infancy has seen an outstanding period of growth and development and because of the constant growth now needs a number one within finance to lead the business throughout its next stage of planning and funding as well as the development of its finance processes and leadership.
You will be responsible for the financial support towards the board and the operation of the business from a financial perspective.
Other key duties will include;
-Potential leadership through a listing project within the next 12-24 months
-Provide key support regarding rounds of funding to enable greater cash input to develop and grow the product placement and volumes
-Provide variance and cost analysis of specific projects
-Maintain and improve reporting systems
-Management of the budget and forecasting procedures
-Manage P&L towards the year end financials
-Provide key product and manufacturing costings
You will be a fully qualified accountant with a significant desire to work within a highly commercial environment at one of the most exciting businesses in the area who are in an incredibly strong position with significant growth plans throughout the next 3-5 years.
Any experience of funding generation or a listing process would be highly beneficial although may not be essential.
