The main duties of this role include:
* Creating and upholding payment policies and procedures to ensure timely payment
* Chasing payments via email and telephone
* Negotiating repayment plans and setting up terms and conditions
* Query resolution
* Maintaining the company sales ledger
* Account reconciliation
* Cash allocation
* Ad-hoc accounting duties (Purchase Ledger and Payroll)
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Credit control or debt collection experience (essential)
* Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
* Good at solving queries
* Brilliant IT skills (experience working with Excel and accounting software)
* Payroll experience (desirable)
