​Are you an experienced finance professional seeking opportunities to become a key part of a fantastic team in a highly regarded, up-and-coming business? Then we have the opportunity for you – a rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Barnsley are looking to expand their team with the addition of a newly-created Credit Controller position.

This position would be ideal for somebody who has significant experience in Credit Control duties, and who is looking for a brand-new challenge. As a Credit Controller, you’ll ensure that customers pay to the agreed terms, as well as manage and produce reports on aged debt.

As a Credit Controller within this business, your duties are as follows:

  • You will have responsibility of your own ledger, overseeing the entire credit control process

  • Chase outstanding debts via email & telephone while maintaining positive relationships with key contacts

  • Main accurate customer records & report on aged debt

  • Regular contributions to the businesses’ credit reports

You should consider applying for this role if you have the following experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Proficient in a range of financial & accounting systems, experience using Sage & Excel is preferable

  • Target-driven & strong ability to meet deadlines
