The job role will evolve and develop due to the nature of a smaller-scale finance working in a national business, so you will be playing a pivotal role in ensuring the growth of the company. Your responsibilities will include:
*All Credit checks and credit control
*Invoices and updating financial figures finance.
*Distribution of invoices and key data to customers such as daily dispatches, along with updating the software's customer portal.
*Chasing debts via telephone/email and responding to queries
*Posting remittances received on Finance System.
*Being aware of specific customer accounts, filing customer balances and chasing up any debts when spotted.
*Raising credits and bank transactions, keeping all files up to date.
*Supporting sales reconciliation, bank reconciliation and purchase ledger invoice input.
*Preparing debtors' reports and preparing meetings to inform the Accounts management team.
This role will suit individuals who have the following skills and experiences:
*A background in Credit Control but with experience of working across finance departments, working in a team with excellent communication skills.
*Good knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
*Knowledge of Microsoft NAV is preferred but not essential.
