What You'll Do:

  • Support Credit Managers: Help establish and maintain credit limits and open new customer accounts.

  • Assist with Credit Control: Get involved in daily admin tasks, including providing copy invoices and statements.

  • Manage Payments: Handle due payments and follow up on overdue accounts via email or phone.

  • Customer Interaction: Address customer inquiries and correspondence.

  • Collaborate with Managers: Work with local Store Managers or Account Managers to resolve customer queries and manage aged debts.

  • Inbox Management: Keep on top of a busy email inbox, responding to queries promptly.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate with the team to achieve goals and improve procedures.

  • Versatile Tasks: Perform other tasks as directed, including covering for finance department staff during their absence.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Some experience in a busy accounts office is a plus, but full training will be provided.

  • Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and independently.
