Duties will include:
* Full Credit Control & Credit Management function for lifecycle of Sales Ledger and company credit risk.
* Produce and provide general risk analysis reports as and when required.
* Achieve DSO reduction and cash collection targets by effective collection of outstanding debts, within agreed payment terms.
* Commercial focus working closely with the sales team to deliver high level of customer service while maximising revenues in line with the credit risk strategy.
* Analyse financial information to assess credit risk and authorise credit lines in accordance with policy and appropriate approvals.
* Provide analysis, support, and recommendations to managers when higher level limits and risks are presented.
* Assess business cases requesting increased payment terms and seek approval when required.
* Work closely with clients to achieve credit solutions, maximise presented opportunities and minimise potential risk.
* Creditsafe software management.
* Credit Policy implementation and management.
* Creation of periodic Cash projections and cash flow statements.
* Processing and managing company payments via BACS, Cheque etc.
* Credit Insurance Policy negotiation and management - CIFS.
* Credit Account dispute resolution - face to face liaison in difficult financial cases.
The ideal individual with display the following attributes:
* Management of a credit control function
* Managing and reporting on a high-volume ledger
* Well-developed customer relations skills
* Understanding of systems and process
* Implementation of credit systems
* Awareness of the requirements of and confidence working with senior stakeholders
* Implementation of query management systems
* Strong excel and report writing ability
