Sharp Consultancy are looking for an experienced credit controller to join a well-established and continuously growing business based in Sheffield, on a full time, permanent basis. This business has been in Sheffield for a substantial amount of time and over the past few years, despite recent global events, have continued to grow and are now on target to have their best year to date. This role is ideal for a credit controller who has experience working in a stand-alone role or within a busy office environment.
Working closely with the financial controller, the main duties of this role will include:
-Chasing a large portfolio of clients for payment
-Monthly Bank Reconciliations
-Credit limit changes
-Completing and analysing bad debt accounts
-Preparation of Cheques
-Change credit limits and check for over exposure
Secondary duties (Experience not essential):
-Calculating hours from timesheets and clock cards
-Complete and post wage journals
-Answer enquiries from
-Open new accounts on bespoke system
-Administer petty cash
-Analyse credit card statements
The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate a high understanding of credit control procedures. Have a high attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively with customers and internal colleagues.
