Sharp Consultancy is delighted to be partnered with a leading business based in Leeds on their search for a new Accounts Payable clerk to join their business. The successful candidate will be joining a fabulous and lively team.
This is an excellent job opportunity for someone who has a strong understanding of Purchase Ledger, with good IT skills and a positive attitude. Ideally you will have worked in a high-volume role previously. However, a full induction and training program will be provided.
Duties & responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk job will include:
* Reviewing Purchase Ledger inbox
* Processing invoices onto the system
* Resolving queries with clients and sales team
* Account reconciliation
* Statement reconciliation
* Setting up new accounts
* Ad hoc reporting for Financial Controller
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
* Previous experience working in Accounts Payable
* Strong reconciliation skills
* Organised & methodical with good attention to detail
