​Sharp Consultancy is proud to be working with a leading organisation based in Leeds who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes accurately within the finance system.

  • Preparing weekly supplier payments and managing supplier accounts.

  • Handling invoice and payment queries, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining accurate ledgers.

  • Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and providing cover for team members during absence.

  • Preparing, posting, and reconciling company credit card transactions.

  • Assisting with ad-hoc duties as required by the Accounts Payable Manager.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage workload independently.
