Our client is a well-established and international manufacturing business that has a turnover of 500 euros per annum, with factories all over the world. They have two businesses in Doncaster, one stable and one expanding rapidly. We need someone to help with both the Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, using Sage software.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Matching, coding and entering supplier invoices into Sage
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any issues or queries
- Obtaining authorisation for payments and preparing invoices for payment both in the UK and internationally
- Sending remittance advice to suppliers
- Sales invoicing and dealing with invoice queries
- Cash allocation and bank reconciliation
You will be working in a small and friendly team of four, reporting to the Finance Director and supporting the Assistant Accountant. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, a team spirit, a willingness to learn and a desire to contribute to the success.
We are open to candidates with different levels of experience and qualifications. We can offer training and study support to those who are interested in developing their skills and knowledge. Equally a more experienced candidate joining the team would be welcomed. The salary range for this role is £22k-£28k per annum, depending on experience.
This is a full-time permanent position, working hours of Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm, and an early finish of 3:30pm on Fridays. This is a fully office based role.
