Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with a well-established business based in Sheffield as they look for an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a full time and permanent basis.
Working closely with the Finance Manager this role will give you the opportunity to build on the finance knowledge you already have, whilst developing your skills further, with study support being provided.
This main duties of this role will include:
- Processing Purchase Ledger invoices
- Processing Supplier payments
- Maintaining the Cash flow
- Cash book posting and allocations
- Supervision of Credit Control
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Bank Reconciliations
- Assisting with preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
Skills and experience:
- Experience working within a similar Finance Assistant role
- Ability to communicate effectively with people from withing and outside the business
- Part/ qualified AAT
- High level of organisation
- Good knowledge of accounting software's and Excel

£25,000 - £27,000
