On the 8th of November, a team from the Sheffield office will be supporting local charity Roundabout by taking part in Sleep Out 2019 and swapping their warm, comfy beds for sleeping bags and cardboard on the floor of a warehouse in Kelham Island.
With just 5 days to go, we asked 3 of the team what they were looking forward to ahead of the event;
Nabarun Dasgupta, Consultant
“Raising money for the charity is obviously first and foremost. We are so grateful to all the donations so far – and we have currently raised in excess of £1,500 which we are all delighted with. I’m also looking forward to watching the Sharp team suffer from underestimating just how cold it’s going to be!”
Lucy Capp, Consultant
“A bit of team bonding, I know it will be tough but getting through it as a team will make it easier.”
Sarah-Jane Keay, Consultant
“Meeting everyone involved and having recently joined Sharp it has been great to see the camaraderie in taking on the challenge”
Roundabout’s Sleep Out 2019 is to raise money and awareness for the Sheffield-based charity which provides shelter, support and life skills to over 250 young people and gives them a chance to turn their lives around by empowering them to break the cycle of homelessness.
