Temporary to Permanent Accounts Assistant

​We are currently working on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business to recruit a Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced finance team, with a high likelihood of the role transitioning into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.

  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices.

  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.

  • Assisting with payment runs.

  • Handling supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts assistant role.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

  • Confident using accounting systems and Excel.
