Sharp Consultancy are excited to work alongside a well-known and leading manufacturing business based in the Rotherham area. They are on the search for a Financial Controller to join the business throughout an extremely successful period.

As the Interim Financial Controller, you will be overseeing the finance teams within two branches. This will involve decision making, forecasting and budgeting, analysis and report building and presenting reports to board members.

This manufacturing business has experienced outstanding growth over the last 10 years. They are continuously expanding and have forecast further significant growth over the next 12 months. Due to this, they are looking for an interim Financial Controller to support the business throughout their expansion and get involved with any ad-hoc projects, on an initial 9-month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities include:
-The management of a team.
-Completing reviews and producing reports.
-Generating forecasting and budgeting reports.
-Overseeing audit processes.
-VAT returns.
-Review of production monthly management accounts.
-Stock reporting.
-Maintaining of financial controls.
-Presenting reports to the CFO and board members.
-Systems analysis.
-Reporting potential risks.
-Assisting with ad-hoc projects.

The successful applicant will ideally demonstrate:
-Membership of an Accountancy body (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
-Experience of working within the manufacturing sector or something similar.
-Experience of working within a similar role.
-The ability to communicate well, within report findings and presentations.
-Excellent computer and Excel skills/experience.
-Using ERPs at a sufficient level.
