My client is an SME Business Service / Sales business operating out of prestigious offices in the South Wakefield Area. There is an opportunity for a Qualified / Part Qualified or QBE Finance Manager to join their business for a 9-12 month interim contract to cover Maternity leave. The role requires a commitment of 22.5 hours per week, working pattern can be flexible depending upon requirements.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
*Monthly Management Accounts production
*Balance Sheet management including reconciliations
*Intercompany accounts
*Fixed assets
*Ledger management
*Review and process monthly payroll and associated year end returns
*Review supplier runs
*Continuous review of systems and processes
*VAT returns
*Presentation to the board
This role forms part of the Senior management team and takes responsibility for a small team. Offering excellent work life balance with flexibility on working hours, this role requires an individual who demonstrates experience of delivering in a similar role with good experience of producing meaningful and accurate reporting, comfortable with payroll and VAT returns. You will also be required to demonstrate excellent systems and people skills, working knowledge of Xero would be advantageous but not essential.
