Interim Capital Management Analyst

A leading financial services organisation in Bradford seeks the help of an experienced accountant to undertake a Capital Management position for an initial 9 months.

The key purpose of this role is to produce complete and accurate capital reporting. The role will work closely with stakeholders from across the business to ensure the coordination and timely completion of capital reporting. Maintaining a up to date understanding of current and emerging regulation and reporting requirements in relation to capital management is key to this role.

Responsibilities will include:
* Coordination of the preparation, and detailed review, of the monthly capital management information.
* Maintenance and ongoing development of the processes and procedures in place to ensure a robust control framework is maintained and regulatory compliance is evidenced.
* Support the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) with responsibility for leading on areas of this work.
* Coordination of the preparation, and detailed review, of the capital analysis for stress and scenario testing.
* Supporting stakeholders in the delivery of cross-functional pieces of work.
* Maintain a detailed knowledge of prevailing and emerging prudential regulation in relation to capital management.
* Ongoing monitoring, interpretation and communication of new and emerging regulatory developments.
* Responsible for maintenance of a strong control environment demonstrated by ensuring that all processes and controls are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.
* Ensure comprehensive understanding and adherence to regulatory policies, processes and procedures.
* Manage and prioritise own workload taking into account your own objectives and those of the business and the wider team.

Ideally you will be formally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) but candidates who are qualified by experience with a strong understanding of the financial services sector will also be considered.
