We are currently working with a business base din South Leeds, who have an opportunity for a full or part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience Accountant to join them initially on an interim basis while a permanent recruitment exercise takes place. This role will take responsibility for financial reporting and work closely with the Senior management team.
Other Key responsibilities for this role will include:
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Financial Analysis& reporting
Budget production and variance analysis
Development of reporting suite and BI systems
P&L
Cash flow forecasting
Group consolidations
Management of escalated Credit control issues
Oversee payroll
VAT returns
Other ad hoc duties as required
The successful applicant will demonstrate experience of delivering in a simmer role, as well as demonstrating strong communication skills, excellent IT skills ideally with knowledge of ERP systems and excellent excel knowledge. You will also demonstrate a strong team work ethic.
Experience of having worked in the leisure sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
