Working as part of a large Credit Control and Risk team for a business based in Bradford, my client is looking for someone to effectively manage credit risk through credit limit reviews, order sign off and new customer creation while being compliant to all company procedures and legislative requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities to include:

Cash Collection
* Support credit control team to ensure cash collection KPI's are achieved.
* Work with FSS in order to facilitate the allocation of all credit and debit write off.
* Prepare accounts for legal collection.
* Ensure all legal collections are correctly documented for monthly management review.

Risk Management
* Oversee the process of new account applications, rolling review of existing accounts and customer credit limit extensions.
* Support FSS Credit Risk Manager with use of credit reference agency.
* Ensure accurate records are maintained for SOX compliance.
* Produce monthly report on high-risk accounts.
* Ensure that authorisation of order release and credit limits comply with credit policy.

* Provide cover as and when required for other team members
* Ensure order sign offs are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
* Supply credit control with monthly credit information.

* Professional approach to all internal and external clients.
* Communicate effectively between departments.
* Answer the telephone promptly and professionally.
* Inform credit managers of any changes to company policies.
