A manufacturing company based in Leeds are looking for a forward-thinking employee who can fit in with the cooperative culture of the business. This is an opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant to work with a long-standing and personable local company.

The Candidate's responsibilities will include:
* Collection of overdue accounts via phone, email & letter.
* In control of the sales ledger and all things Credit.
* Cash allocations.
* Minimising delay on scheduled payments through a high level of communication skills.
* Liaising with internal stakeholders.
* Reconciliation of customer statements to ledger position.
* Monitor & mange debts on the sales ledger.
* Ad-hoc duties to support the finance team.
* Weekly cashflow forecasting.
* Assisting with monthly Management Accounts preparation
* Continual analysis and development of financial strategies as the business grows.
* Assist with financial audits.
* Customs VAT/Duty enquiries.
* Assist with Year End Accounts.
* Sales reporting & Analysis.

The ideal Candidate will possess the following attributes:
* Experience of working in a fast-paced Credit Control environment, with the ability to work across Accounts.
* MS Office software proficiency (Pivot Tables, V Lookups).
* Ability to manage personal workload as well as working well in a team.
* Key communication skills across the finance team and the business on the whole.
* Adaptable and enthusiastic approach to work.
