This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a thriving business within a growing industry, as part of a constantly expanding finance team.

The candidate's responsibilities will include:
* Maximise revenue, mitigate credit risk and minimise bad debt.
* Check customer's credit and approve or deny applications based on company standards and requirements.
* Build strong relationships with customers to create a rapport based on trust and mutual respect.
* Regular account reviews of aged debts to maximise cash collection and reduce aged debt.
* To liaise with external parties to manage the Debt Collection process.
* Resolve account queries both internally and externally.
* Analyse the effectiveness of the credit control system and suggest improvements / implement strategies to increase profitability and reduce bad debts.
* Strategize and provide an insight on how to improve the business across all financial departments
* To assist the Credit Control Team Leader in producing weekly, monthly and adhoc reports
* Maintaining overdue debtor days below given target

The ideal Candidate with possess attributes:
* A positive can do attitude, showing the initiative to communicate effectively across the finance team.
* Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
* Professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others.
* Intermediate - strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Microsoft office efficient
* Proven ability to succeed in a complex and dynamic environment.
