This is an outstanding opportunity to join our client, who are a leading manufacturing business based to the north of Wakefield. Reporting to the Credit Manager you will be part of a special project chasing aged debt. This role will suit a candidate who has worked in the manufacturing sector previously, and who has previous experience gained in credit control. Due to the nature of the role our client is looking for a self-starter and someone who can work on their own initiative.
Duties will include:
* Managing your own ledger of clients ensuring targets are met as well as assisting the team in their targets
* Complex customer account reconciliations and customer queries
* You will need strong communication skills and be a strong negotiator
* Ideally you will have Strong IT skills including intermediate Excel
* Our client would prefer a candidate ICM qualified or working towards ICM qualification
Due to the nature of the role you will need to be resilient and have a can-do attitude and ideally will have done credit control previously.
The role will be based at their Wakefield site. Initially there will be no flexibility on home working although there may be flexibility on this down the line.
