I am recruiting for a large engineering organisation in Scunthorpe who have received hefty financial investment.

The role is for a Credit Analyst to join their Accounts Receivable team.

This role is credit services and credit risk analysis. Reporting to the Credit Manager you will provide analytical support to drive forward effective credit risk strategies. Applying a rigorous process and applying commercial insight, you will play a vital role in supporting key credit decisions. You will work closely with the rest of the finance team to ensure consistent best practice is developed and maintained across the function.

The main duties will include.

*Perform credit control activities in line with insurance policy requirements and company controls
*Manage high risk customers in line with credit policy implementing suitable strategies to mitigate risk and bring back within contractual terms
*Prepare regular, clear and timely reporting highlighting cash collection performance, risks identified and recommended actions
*Determine whether new customers comply with the company's attitude to risk and credit policy
*Perform timely and accurate legal processes for debt collection and any later insolvency situation as required
*Organise and respond on a timely basis to requests made by the business's multiple stakeholders
*Involvement in ad hoc reporting or project activities as required.

This is initially a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with the potential for a permanent appointment.

We are expecting a salary of circa £25k plus benefits.
