​Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a market leading organisation based in Hull in their search for an Alliance Auditor. This role will form the perfect hybrid between industry and practice, making it the ideal 1st time move for someone finishing / who has recently completed their ACA / ACCA studies!

Our client has a strong focus on commercial and contract setting with strong ties to the rail industry. They’re all about making sure contracts, costs, and partnerships are handled the right way—from the early planning stages through to delivery. In this role you’ll work closely with clients and project partners to make sure everything is on track and identify areas for improvement.

This is a newly created role that will blend audit responsibilities with business partnering, financial analysis and risk management - ideal for an up-and-coming Auditor looking to broaden their commercial skillset.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Perform statutory, compliance and internal audits of financial statements and accounts

  • Business partner with senior management and heads of departments to deliver audit findings

  • Support the testing of internal financial controls

  • Analyse financial data to support board level decision making

  • Support the identification of financial risks

  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to SLT

Person Specification:

  • ACA / ACCA Studier or Qualified

  • Strong audit background

  • Experience of communicating with a variety of senior stakeholders
