Duties will include:
*Logging and processing of Purchase Ledger invoices in line with company authorities
*Processing Purchase Ledger invoices in line with 3-way match principles (P2P)
*Reconciling supplier statements and request copies of invoices not received
*Open/closing of supplier accounts, maintaining and updating supplier details
*Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries to facilitate prompt payment of invoices
*Processing employee expenses and question as appropriate where expenditure falls outside company policy
*Chasing internal stakeholders for invoices and resolving queries, challenging where necessary
*Project involvement where projects impact on Purchase Ledger
*Ensuring all processes are documented, maintained and amended as appropriate to ensure they are always up to date and relevant
*Supporting with other ad-hoc duties in Core Finance as required
*Manage Accounts Mailbox, print supplier invoices and respond to queries received from internal and external customers in a timely manner
*Create International supplier payments via Bankline
*Administer the daily post
To be considered for this role you will have to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Accounts Payable and ideally have worked in a volume processing role previously. You will also have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within Accounts Payable.
