If you are looking for a new and rewarding challenge in accounts, look no further! My client is looking for a strong transactional finance candidate / Bookkeeper to assist with the day to day finance duties, whilst looking to improve processes and procedures.
The MD of the business has a flexible approach to how he and the staff work and offers support where it is needed but doesn't micromanage. The variety of duties and the level of autonomy in this role doesn't come around too offer and is a wonderful opportunity for someone that still wants a challenge but offers some flexibility.
Duties include:
*Invoice Processing and filing
*Processing credit card expenses
*Credit Control
*Cash Book Maintenance
*Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
*Bank reconciliations
*Entering Sales Figures into system
*Raising Sales Invoices and Credit notes
*Liaising with third party providers, client and suppliers
*Liaising with external accountant
*Basic administration
*Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
*Maintaining Vat records
*Maintaining monthly consolidated bank accounts
*Payroll
*Ad hoc duties
Sage 50 would be advantageous.
The working hours are Monday to Friday (37.5) with the start and finish time flexible. There is on site parking and there is an option to work from home if required.
Salary - £25k - £28k
