Accounts Assistant

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, operational environment and is looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive finance team.

 

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function. Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices and matching to purchase orders

  • Assisting with sales ledger and credit control duties

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Supporting month-end processes

  • Maintaining accurate financial records

  • Assisting with general finance administration

 

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in an accounts assistant or finance administration role

  • Confident using Excel (including basic formulas and reconciliations)

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Able to manage workload and meet deadlines

  • A strong communicator who can liaise with suppliers and internal teams
