Sharp Consultancy are working alongside an ever-growing engineering company of which are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support their small and welcoming finance function. This company is involved with projects up and down the UK and have an fantastic reputation within the construction industry.
This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of a permanent appointment alongside an opportunity for progression!
The role includes:
-Maintaining the Sales and Purchase Ledger functions
-Inputting invoices onto the system
-Reconciling supplier statements
-Processing payments
-Managing live accounts
-Preparing sales invoices
-Setting up new customers and conducting credit checks
Skills and experience:
-Experience working within a similar role
-Ability to communicate across all levels of the business
-Ability to communicate well with customers
-Experience using SAP (beneficial not essential)
