Treasury Assistant - Scunthorpe.

Working for this large engineering company in the Treasury team of the Finance department we are recruiting exclusively for a Treasury Assistant.

You will play a key role in the banking activities working closely with the rest of the treasury and credit management team and other functions.

Some of the main duties will include:

* Upload bank statements into SAP to the clearing GL accounts on a daily basis
* Liaise with the Credit Control team to assist in the allocation of customer receipts
* Takes ownership of the AR Clearing Accounts in SAP, ensuring that all receipts are cleared down & matched, in particular ensuring that non-customer receipts are correctly allocated by the end of the working day
* Produces cash receipts and cash payments reports for the Head of Treasury as required
* Assists with the production of the weekly creditor payment files, performing validation checks, review of accurate due dates and assists in obtaining relevant approvals to commit the payments
* Organise and respond on a timely basis to requests made by the business's multiple stakeholders
* Involvement in ad hoc reporting or project activities as required.

We are specifically looking for someone who has experience of the above and has worked in a treasury/cash management function within finance.

The salary is £22k-£25k depending upon experience and the position comes with 27 days holiday + stat plus a competitive pension. The hours are 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:30 to 16:00 on a Friday so 36.5hours per week.
