A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced ACCA/ACA/CIMA financial accountant/management accountant to join what promises to be one of the regions premier organisations.
Now in their ninth year of trading they have once again seen 30% year on year growth and are predicting similar results in 2022 and beyond. Due to this exceptional growth and recent further substantial investment, they require an experienced CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant to join their business with a clear succession plan towards a senior Financial Controller/Head of Finance.
Working closely with the Finance Director and Head of Operations your role will initially include:
* Preparing and presenting accounts to senior board level as well as the PE house.
* Liaising closely with the Finance Director to implement, change and drive new procedures to ensure a "best in class" accounts function.
* Oversee the monthly management accounts production ensuring senior stake holders are aware of current positions highlighting any analytical trends both positive and negative.
* First point of contact for external communications with both banking facilities and external audit partners.
* Review and improve reporting obligations both internal and external.
* Ensure compliance across the business balance sheet and general ledgers to month end and year end obligations.
Further additional responsibility will be added as you aim to recruit your successor as you develop over the next 12-18 months.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with previous experience within an accountancy practice.
* Exposure to or knowledge of fast paced sectors such as manufacturing, retail, food and engineering.
* Keen to develop your career towards Financial Controller/Head of Finance. Ability to adapt and pick up projects on a ad hoc basis.

* Salary £55-£65k DOE
