This role is ideal for a commercially aware individual. Looking to providing accounting support, accurate and timely information to all stakeholders and to contribute to the overall efficiency of the finance department.
Reporting directly into the Senior Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for:
* Analysis and review of expenditure within the business unit
* Preparation and support to the business unit of weekly forecasts
* Monthly & weekly reporting of KPI's & performance of the business unit
* First point of contact for management when they have financial queries
* Ownership of several depots in the network through the month end process
* Month end reporting on network performance to senior management
* Ensure financial process is followed across the network
* Assistance to the network in capex submission
* Handling of data requests & analysis from senior management
* Ensure invoicing is done in a timely manner throughout the network
* Balance sheet preparation
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA Part Qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
* Strong Excel skills
* Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
* Strong communication skills
